Sicily is the biggest island nestled in the Mediterranean Sea, and while this lovely and craggy island is popular for its exceptional culture in terms of its language, arts, cuisine, music and literature, it is also well-known for its ancient ruins and archeological sites, such as the Selinunte, Necropolis of Pantalic and the Valley of the Temples.
