Have you ever heard of Seasonal Affective Disorder? SAD for short (appropriately), is also known as winter depression or blues, and is a mood disorder in which people who have normal mental health throughout most of the year experience depressive symptoms in the winter.
Even the most positive of people can succumb to some of these symptoms after a long, cold season. We believe the best way to fight back is to getaway to warmer climates, even if it's just for a extended weekend. There's nothing like a healthy dose of sunshine to wash away those winter blues.
The Canadian duo - Traveling Canucks - just posted this inspiring list of 22 Beaches to Take Your Mind Off Winter. I'm practically drooling over these photos - between Tulum, Mexico (one of my favorite beaches) all the way to Amman Beach off the Dead Sea in Jordan, the hardest decision you'll have to make is where to choose.
